Father's day

Selfless, compassionate, thoughtful, helping, loving are just a few words to describe the wonderful man that is my husband. Avery is so lucky to have a man like him for her daddy.  I am blessed to watch him love, teach and nurture our baby girl.

Fayetteville trip

We took a quick 2 day trip to Fayetteville to list our house. But the day before we left we took Avery to the dr. She had an ear infection and strep. Boo on that. We decided to go ahead with the trip since it would be a quick one. And she would be sick either way. Avery hate long trips in the car, always has. She did so good!!

I forget how beautiful NWA is.

I can't believe my little girl is already 1. People always say "time flies". You don't truly understand that until you have a child. We are so blessed by her, even on the hard days. And yes there are very hard days. Since I can't ever keep up with blogging on a normal basis I will hit the high points of her birthday. And the month of February.

 

 

Meme flew in from Florida to be here for her birthday. That was so special for me. I wanted her to be here so badly. I know she was so excited the week of with her as well. We picked Meme up at the airport in LR on Thursday the 6th. It snowed some beautiful flurries. We came home and made a smash cake for Avery's 1 year pictures that afternoon. Candace came and took some amazing pictures. I was so excited that it was snowing for some of them.

 

 

Avery refused to smile for the photos. She hadn't taken a good nap and she was teething. I was so excited with how the pictures turned out. We love Candace. She is the sweetest.

 

It snowed every day till the party. The night before the party it snowed a good amount and iced in some places. So that kept some of our family from being able to make it. But that was ok. We didn't want anyone to get hurt or have an accident trying to get here.

She has a great birthday. We are so blessed for our family and friends. I have to make a list of who was here because I will forget otherwise. Pregnancy brain last well after pregnancy.

Avery had her 1 year check up a few days later. She weighed 21 pounds. She loves to eat. Not to long after her birthday she came down with strep. Not fun. We got lots of snuggles from her though.

We have been beyond blessed by our sweet girl this year. So thankful God choose us to be her parents. She has taught us more in this year than I have ever learned. Blessed.
