2 1/2 months old

Little Bird,

You are now 2 1/2 months old. Where has time gone? I can't believe how much you have grown and changed. As I type this you are quietly asleep in your car seat. We had a lunch play date and you slept the whole time and are still asleep...

At your 2 month check up. You weighed 9lbs 12 oz. You were 22 3/4 inches long.

You have long legs and are in the 5th percentile for weight.

You smile a lot in your sleep.

 

 

You are growing so very fast.  You are now in a size 1 diaper and in 0-3 month clothes. I packed up your newborn clothes last night. It was bittersweet and I cried. You seem to be growing so fast and I am trying to soak up every moment. Thank you for being the biggest blessing in our lives. You will never know how much we love you. 

Almost a month old

Tomorrow our baby girl will be a ONE month old! Wow it's already been a month since that night! I can't wrap my mind around it. She is so precious when she sleeps and makes little faces. She is more alert when she's awake...looking around and listening to all the noises.

She has been to the airport, shopping, went on walks, taken her first bath, went to church for the first time and has started sleeping 5 hour stretches!!!!

Tho it looks like she sleeps all the time some days it feels like she doesn't sleep at all. 4 1/2 hours thru the night has been pretty awesome. So thankful for her little self!
