So here is a little clip of how Amory and I made it to where we are today!
This was our first picture! This was also the first time I met his sister, brother and their families. Bless his heart he doesn't like his picture taken and well I love to take photos! Little did he know he would be stuck with me for the rest of our lives.
This was taken at my sweet friend Brittani's wedding. Our first wedding together as a couple.
He took me home to meet his momma! This was also my first time on an airplane! We flew to Florida, went to Sea World, went to the Atlantic Ocean, seen where he grew up and spent some time with his mom and dad. Such an amazing trip.
Our first Christmas! We spent the days before Christmas with my family. Then we flew to Florida to spend Christmas with his family. It was such an awesome time to be there.
We love sunsets. Most of our first year of dating we spent chasing sunsets and sunrises. It is still one of our favorite things to do.
We spent a lot of the summer doing this. Well him golfing and me riding around with him taking photos. This was in Branson, MO.
Let's fast forward to my birthday, September 2011. We go to see Alison Krauss and Union Station. They were so good. She has a voice like and angel!!
Then the next day we go to the zoo to see these beautiful animals. I love giraffe's, LOVE them. I was so excited because this was the new baby, Wendie.
Then he surprised me with the zoo keeper who told us that we could go into their 'house' and feed them. So this was my first encounter with my favorite animal. I was actually feeding these huge magnificent creatures.
I turn around once my bucket of bananas had been depleted. And I found him down on one knee. Yes he was asking me to spend the rest of my life with him. I cried. He cried. It was the most exciting moment to date.
This was my birthday dinner with my family the day after he proposed.
I love him with all of my heart!
Now we are only 56 days away from our wedding. We can't wait to spend the rest of our lives chasing sunsets, cooking lot of food, traveling all over, being with our families, starting a family of own and glorifying God in the process!
